Masking

One afternoon, when the morning drizzle had quieted down, I stole a glimpse of the sparkling droplets dappling the red maples. I had to freeze the frames.

In photoshop, I added a camera raw filter and then used a masking layer to desaturate the background.

Creating Panoramas

To create a panorama in Photoshop, I first took a bunch of photos (probably about 15 images) while using a tripod. I shot images in a circle around me, first of the horizon and then just above and just below. I then took these images to photoshop and merged them into one detailed panorama, which I edited further with a camera raw filter.
